Mavis Fenn has accepted the newly created position on the IS Academic Board representing uWaterloo's university colleges as of the spring/summer term 2011. Welcome, Mavis! We certainly appreciate her clearly evident enthusiasm and support for IS students.

Professor Fenn is a faculty member for the Department of Religious Studies, headquartered at St. Paul's University College. Her research interests include Buddhism in Canada, women in Buddhism, and the International Association of Buddhist women (Sakyadhita). She teaches a variety of courses on Buddhism and the Introduction to Religions of the East.
