Representatives from the Independent Studies academic advisors comprise the IS Admissions Committee who interview applicants for the IS program. Academic advisors also help guide and direct students in their studies. Each student is paired with at least one advisor and is expected to meet with them a minumum of five or six times a term. Experience proves that the more often IS students consult with their advisors, the greater their success in the program.
