ISers have been likened to a "herd of cats,"* and so, IS news is most frequently shared when we 'Cats' congregate. Typically, for the species of cats, and by association, IS Cats, gatherings occur when an ample food supply appears.
We expect that attending IS events where refreshments are always plentiful to be our main source of news. However, as we spread across the country and engage in our very busy lives, we obviously welcome alternative times and means to share news. Email of course is the most efficient.
We're happy to post your news and announcements to our web site and encourage you to check this site from time-to-time for updates on your fellow 'Cats.'

"If you are interested in reading the second article that I published on Elephant Journal, check it out here: http://www.elephantjournal.com/2011/12/occupyyogaclass--emma-dines/
it is about a yoga class where I taught about "Occupy Wall Street", which turned out to be one of the most powerful classes I have ever experienced as a teacher."

Hello wonderful friends and community members,
I wanted to share some exciting news that I got today - an article that I wrote, called "The Yoga of Protest" was published on Elephant Journal! It is about the Occupy Movement, and in this article I am looking at it from the perspective of ananda, a concept in Anusara Yoga (the lineage of yoga that I'm studying).
Here is the link if you'd like to check it out!

For those of you who I haven't seen or talked with in a long time, the brief update is that I am living in Kitchener-Waterloo in an intentional community house called "The Household as Ecology", raising chickens in my backyard and teaching yoga full time! I would love to catch up with any and all of you so please give me a shout if you'd like!
Big love, and big happy wishes for November!
